Summer Life Between Sundays
School is finally out for most of our children. Our public and home school families are taking a few weeks out of the classroom and replacing the daily studies with trips to the zoo, the beach, summer camp, VBS... Some are simply enjoying the opportunity to be at home together. Over the last couple of weeks, attendance has been down at our weekend worship services and it is easy to attribute this to summer. But what if there is more? What if you are overwhelmed with having the children home every day? What if the adjustments you have been asking God to make in your life aren't going as smoothly as you hoped? What if the extra hours at work have left you drained? When Saturday night or Sunday morning rolls around will you stay where you are or will you come and give your cares to Jesus?
This weekend is a great time to come and be encouraged. Meet the many new folks who have come with the same cares and hopes that you have. Stand beside family and friends who share the journey that you are on. Worship the One who holds the answer to your questions. Come as you are and expect to leave transformed.
This weekend we will be taking pictures throughout our time together to capture a glimpse of what God is doing in the life of His Church. These pictures will be used to complete our redesigned website. We are also in week two of asking every regular attendee and member to complete a family profile as we launch Church Community Builder connecting all of our family together. You can also register for Vacation Bible School and learn about the other great opportunities coming this month. See you this weekend!
